Wellness Center

Ethiopian Nurses Association in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) of Ethiopia, the International Council of Nurses, BD, PEPFAR, the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organization (INMO) as well as the national stakeholders and professional groups has started preliminary activities for the renovation of the Wellness Centre for Health Care Workers and their Families in Ethiopia. 

The Wellness Center provides:

• a holistic compliment of services for all health workers and their immediate families;
• services that  include integrated HIV and TB testing and treatment;
• non-communicable disease screening and monitoring;
• occupational health and safety initiatives, including sharps injury surveillance and response;
• immunization and infection control training;
• stress management;  
• continues education opportunities;
• resource knowledge for continuous professional development
